Growth needs a plan. It needs someone to run it, too.
I work with growing companies that need senior marketing leadership to set the strategy, create the plan, and turn growth priorities into consistent execution.
I can work alongside an existing team, direct outside partners, or personally execute the highest-priority work.
Fractional marketing leadership informed by deep experience across operations, product, and executive leadership.
When growth gets complex, PBG helps you move forward with focus
Growth exposes the cracks. Priorities compete, execution fragments, and too much still runs through a single person.
I bring senior marketing leadership — with an operating view of the whole business — to cut through the noise and keep the important work from stalling.
Fractional Marketing Leadership
Senior direction and hands-on execution to turn marketing from a collection of activities into a focused, coordinated growth function.
Clarify the business goals, audience, positioning, priorities, and where marketing should focus first.
Create the 90-day plan, campaign calendar, messaging, content, nurture programs, automation, reporting, and the other systems needed to execute.
Launch the work, coordinate the people and resources around it, measure performance, and improve what’s working.
More than a marketing lens
Marketing rarely succeeds in isolation. My experience across operations, product, revenue, and Chief of Staff roles helps me see where execution is breaking down across the business and what needs to change to support growth.
Marketing and Business Operations
I build the processes, reporting, workflows, and cross-functional coordination needed to help growing companies operate with more clarity, consistency, and accountability.
Fractional Chief of Staff
For select engagements, I partner with founders and executives to clarify priorities, align teams, and lead critical work that sits between functions.
Better judgment, accelerated by AI
AI speeds up the work. Judgment still runs it. I use AI and automation to help lean teams work faster, improve visibility, and reduce repetitive work. The technology supports the strategy; it doesn’t replace the judgment behind it.
Faster execution
Accelerate research, campaign development, content workflows, and routine marketing tasks without sacrificing quality or strategic oversight.
Smarter systems
Build automated workflows that improve lead follow-up, reporting, campaign coordination, and the flow of information across the business.
Clearer visibility
Turn fragmented marketing and operating data into dashboards, summaries, and insights leaders can use to make faster decisions.
Applied in practice: AI-enabled marketing, reporting, statement-of-work, meeting-capture, and operating workflows across consulting, hospitality, and founder-led businesses.
Selected Work
A few examples of how I’ve built marketing functions, created growth systems, and stepped into broader operating needs.
N3, now part of Accenture
Built a marketing engine where there wasn’t one.
N3 had grown through sales but lacked a defined marketing strategy, demand generation engine, developed brand identity, and meaningful revenue attribution.
I built and led the global marketing function across positioning, demand generation, content, ABM, marketing operations, technology, events, and reporting.

Achieve
Turned scattered tactics into one growth strategy.
Achieve needed to grow event attendance, membership, and sponsorship revenue, but marketing was largely tactical and too much still sat with the founder.
I developed the integrated channel strategy, audience segmentation, nurture programs, email campaigns, LinkedIn content, and partner amplification.
Port Royal Brands / Walk-On’s
Opened a market. Then ran the operation behind it.
I led the Atlanta go-to-market strategy across digital, local marketing, partnerships, promotions, and community outreach.
When broader operating gaps emerged, I expanded into a Chief of Staff role spanning reporting, financial processes, vendor management, workflows, and cross-functional coordination.

Senior leadership that stays close to the work
Most clients engage me as an ongoing fractional leader. I own the priorities and plan, meet regularly with leadership, execute critical work, and coordinate the employees and outside partners needed to deliver it.
Own the plan
Set priorities, build the marketing plan and calendar, and keep the work aligned with business goals.
Execute critical work
Personally handle high-value strategy, messaging, campaigns, content, automation, and reporting.
Lead the resources
Coordinate internal employees, freelancers, agencies, and specialists around one clear direction.
Adapt as priorities change
Review performance, make recommendations, and adjust priorities as new information and opportunities emerge.

Wendy Gaskill
I don’t just plan growth. I run it.
I’ve spent my career helping companies turn ambitious growth goals into clear priorities, practical plans, and measurable execution.
My experience includes leadership roles and client work across Accenture, N3, WebMD Health, Sharecare, Skaled Consulting, Port Royal Brands and Walk-On’s, Razorfish, Dimension Data/Proxicom, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, and Silverpop Systems, now IBM.
I’ve built global marketing functions from the ground up, launched and scaled new businesses, generated significant marketing-attributed revenue, and led across marketing, operations, product, revenue, and Chief of Staff roles.
That range makes me a stronger marketing leader. I understand how positioning connects to demand, how marketing works with sales, how team capacity affects execution, and how AI, automation, and better reporting can help lean teams move faster and make smarter decisions.
I’m strategic without being hands-off. I can define the direction, create the messaging, build campaigns and workflows, improve automation and reporting, and lead the people needed to deliver the plan.
I work best with founders who move decisively, share the full business context, and are ready to delegate meaningful ownership. I’m collaborative, but I’ll also challenge a strategy when the assumptions, expectations, or timing don’t hold up.
